PrepTalk: Inside Master’s Admission at NEOMA
Master’s programs in Finance, Marketing and Business are as popular as ever. If you are interested in any of these subjects, this webinar recording will help you by providing Master’s admission tips and an overview of the Master’s programs at NEOMA Business School (France).
In this webinar, Fernando Llambias, Head of International Recruitment and Admissions at NEOMA Business School, answers questions about NEOMA’s specialized Master’s programs, and shares some news about the delayed start of the fall semester.
Triple Crown accreditation
Fernando started with a short introduction to NEOMA, a business school with three campuses in France and accredited by the three main accreditation bodies – EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. The share of international students at the school stands at 25%, with more than 100 nationalities represented. In terms of rankings, NEOMA occupied sixth place in the general ranking for French business schools in 2019. Internationally, it ranked 43rd in the 2019 Masters in Management ranking of the Financial Times.
A rich Master’s offering
NEOMA has a total of 16 Master’s programs divided into three categories -- Finance and Accounting, Marketing, and Business and Management, with the duration varying between 15 and 24 months. Typically, these programs start in September; however, because of the pandemic, this year the start is scheduled for October and January to allow students to get their documents in order.
Some of the programs offer additional international certifications. For example, those who obtain a Master’s degree in Financial Markets and Technologies will also be offered the chance to get the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation. There are also programs that offer double degrees and courses taught in partnership with other schools, for example the International Master in Luxury Management is offered in partnership with Politecnico di Milano School of Management (MIP). The course has two major sponsors – Prada Group and Champagne Taittinger.
In touch with the real business world
Fernando stated that the school is maintaining links to the industry, inviting companies to deliver lectures or organizing student visits to companies in France and abroad, mainly in Europe.
