A social enterprise has two goals: to achieve social and environmental outcomes and to earn revenue. Many social enterprises look like traditional businesses, but if you look deeper, you will discover the defining characteristics: mission is at the center of business, with income generation playing an important supporting role.

Throughout this course you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the diverse world of social enterprises.
