Technically speaking the MBA is a Master’s degree. However, it is so different from the rest of the Master’s degree programmes even in fields of study which are close to business administration. That is why there is also a considerable difference in the requirements for admission, the application process as well as the tuition fees. On the other hand the specialised Master’s degree programmes have their specific focus and they are targeted at prospective students with career goals which are very different from those of MBA bound professionals.
