Stanford Graduate School of Business Launches New International Policy and Business- Dual Degree Program

The Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) has partnered with the Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences to offer a brand new dual MA/MBA program for students who wish to study international policy and business. Interested candidates can apply to the program beginning this Autumn. Students who complete the new three-year program will be awarded two degrees- an MBA from Stanford GSB and an MA from the Ford Dorsey Program in International Policy Studies at the Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. Interested applicants must separately apply to the GSB’s MBA program and IPS program at the School of Humanities and Sciences and be accepted at both. UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business Awards Scholarships to Half of Full-time MBA Class

The Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley set a new record this year by awarding scholarships to half of its new full-time MBA class. Haas will provide as much as $6 million in scholarship aid to students across its three MBA programs, with an average of $26,000 per student in the full-time MBA program.

Haas students are able to apply for numerous of scholarships offered through Haas, UC Berkeley and other organizations. The awards for MBA candidates/students vary from $10,000 to $100,000 for two years of coursework. The largest scholarship, the Dean’s Fellowship, awarded to entering MBA students deemed to have the greatest career potential, accounts for $110,000.

UNC Kenan-Flagler Publishes New MBA Application Guide for Prospective Applicants

MBA@UNC, the online MBA program at University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, has just released a new MBA application guide, which aims to aid prospective applicants in the admission process. Moreover, the guide is designed to serve as a resource for applicants for any business school.

ESADE and Guanghua to Launch Full-time Dual MBA Degree in 2015

Esade has become the latest western business school to launch an MBA degree with a blue-chip Chinese institution. The Spanish business school will launch a dual degree with the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in September 2015. Unlike other dual degrees between Chinese business schools and those in Europe and North America, which are usually part-time or executive format, the Esade-Guanghua Dual MBA program will be a full-time residential program. Interested candidates will be able to learn about doing business in Europe and Latin America as well as in the rapidly expanding Chinese economy. The first year will be run on Esade’s Barcelona- Sant Cugat campus and the second year will be taught on Guanghua’s campus in Beijing. Students will also have the opportunity to learn Mandarin.
