Knowledge of English idioms will help you on the GMAT sentence correction questions in the Verbal section of the exam.

As previously mentioned, simply reading the answer choices and picking the sentence that sounds best isn’t enough. There are also some subtleties that you need to master in order to score high on the sentence correction section of the GMAT, such as idioms.

Last week’s video presented a list of must-know idioms. This week, we are presenting more of these in order to help you better prepare for the exam.

If you have any questions regarding sentence correction questions or any other section of the GMAT exam, you can post them on the PrepAdviser Forum. Experts and peers will answer promptly.
