Hello arnabchakrabortii57,

I would like to suggest that you make a plan of your career development path in terms of desired positions, sectors/industries and countries/regions in which you would like to work upon graduation and in the long-term. In this way you will be able to evaluate whether an MBA is the best path for you. You may also consider Master’s programmes specialised in different aspects of management as an alternative to an MBA. But this will be determined by your long-term career goals.

As a second step, I would recommend that you focus on GMAT preparation. If needed, take the GMAT more than once, in order to make sure you achieve the highest score you can. Once you know your score and your specific career aspirations, you will be able to identify the best programmes. In this way you will improve both your chances for admission and for maximizing the benefits of your studies.

Based on the information which you provided above, it is clear that you meet the standard eligibility requirements for admission to both MBA and Master’s degree programmes – university degree, several years of full-time professional experience, and knowledge of English. I would recommend that you focus on your career path as in this way only you can decide which type of programme will be most adequate for you.

If you apply for an MBA the quality of your professional experience will be important, as well as your career progression, leadership potential, international exposure, intercultural awareness. The relevance of an MBA to your career goals will be of high importance so this is the best starting point for you at this stage.
