Welcome to PrepAdviser and thank you for your question.
Admissions essays have considerable weight in the overall evaluation of your application. You have to make sure you make the best of this opportunity to present yourself, and your motivation to attend the selected MBA programme.
Essays are school specific. Even if the topics is or sounds similar, your reply cannot be the same. This is so, because schools are very different and you have different reasons for selecting each of them.
Different b-school require between one and ten essays. Questions differ per school.
You essays should be: - Straight to the point of the topic - Within the word limit - Free of spelling and grammar mistakes - Clearly describing your ideas - Revealing your unique features and skills - Revealing how you will contribute to the MBA programme - Illustrating how the MBA programme will help you reach your goal - Convincing that you have carefully researched the programme and have adequate expectations - Coherent with the rest of the application materials – resume/CV, recommendations, facts in the application form - Really personal.
