About HEC Montréal Full-time MBA

Founded in 1907, HEC Montréal quickly became one of the top locations for management training and research in Canada. It was the first management school in North America to hold the three most prestigious accreditations in the world in management teaching: AACSB International (USA), EQUIS (Europe) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the United Kingdom.

HEC Montréal welcomes some 13,280 students, close to 34.7% of whom come from outside Quebec.

Its one-year MBA is listed in some of the world's most prestigious rankings: Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, AméricaEconomía and Expansión.

Focusing on practice, its teaching methods prepare managers to apply their skills in a complex environment while taking into account all facets of organizational management. In addition to fostering teamwork, the learning process involves the case method, role-playing games, individual and group oral presentations, and computer simulations. In addition, business leaders interact with students in classes and during school sponsored debates and conferences.
