Copenhagen Living and Working
Copenhagen is a delightful city to live in - quality of life is high, green spaces are easily accessible and a majority of the population use their bike to get around, setting the standards for low-emission living. Through its strategic placement at the heart of the Øresund region, Copenhagen is a buzzing business hub and home to a wide variety of companies, offering numerous career opportunities. For the second year in a row, Monocle Magazine 2014 has awarded Copenhagen the winning spot for the world's most livable city. It has also been voted European Green Capital of the Future, reflecting its commitment to green city living. Work satisfaction is high and all inhabitants all live within easy access of green spaces and city beaches, and leisure activates such as theatre evenings, music events and art exhibitions are just a short bike ride away. Denmark has attractive visa options for non-EU students who are eligible to apply for a work permit post-MBA under the Establishment Card scheme and/or the three year Greencard scheme.
